Where are you now?

At home, looking out into my sunshine filled garden, with the door open, here in Newcastle upon Tyne.


Where would you be ?

Returning from the ReWire festival in the Hague and a (postponed) performance of the ‘Chernobyl’ soundtrack with Hildur, Sam, Theresa & Francisco.


What have you been doing lately?

Working from my home studio and recording the bird song in my garden.


What are you hearing right now?

Collared dove, greenfinch, dunnock, starling, blackbird, woodpigeon and blue tit.


Are you taking advantage of this containment period to make music?

Yes, creating and thinking. Being given the luxury of time is such a wonderful opportunity, however it’s taken me two weeks to adjust.


How will the world be after all this?

Nobody really knows. More quiet I hope, more peaceful I hope and more equable I hope...
