Where are you now?

In our little flat in Berlin.


Where would you be ?

I would be here, preparing for some performances that would have been coming up.


What have you been doing lately?

I have been honing my cooking skills, chipping away at small tasks, keeping connected to family & friends and trying to keep my mild calm.



What are you hearing right now?

My partner playing a Kiss album in the kitchen.


Are you taking advantage of this containment period to make music?

I have been struggling with this, in part because I am finding it difficult to focus generally, and additionally because there is no work space in our small apartment for setting up all of my equipment. I have a lot of projects on the go, so at the moment they are all simmering. I do know that I will resume working soon though... when the moment is right.


How will the world be after all this?

I really don't know... It seems impossible that things will resume as they were, but I also know that humanity is quick to want to get back to 'normal' even after trauma's. This period is quite abstract to process and I would say that even once things resume it will take some time for people and society to feel 'Ok' again. Also economically the impact will continue to unfold over some time.


How can we support the music community?

At the moment supporting artists directly through bandcamp & websales helps. Also supporting small labels/distros and venues that are trying to survive through this. The main thing is for us all to keep connected, keep passionate, and stay home(!).
