What have you been doing lately?

I have been recording the city of Amsterdam during ‘lockdown’ - 1 recording in different locations, each day throughout April, we are allowed outside once a day.

What are you hearing right now?

In my studio, listening back to ambisonic recordings of creaking trees in a small forest I made last weekend.


Are you taking advantage of this containment period to make music?

Not so much, it doesn’t work like that. Now I do recordings every day, normally I would not do that. The rest of this week I will renovate and paint 4 chairs.

How will the world be after all this?

Hopefully calmer and more thoughtful.

How can we support the music community?

Be curious, challenge yourself, buy online from record stores, labels, artists. Support art and culture agendas!
